The YRoots program objective is to introduce, educate and maintain Tamil roots, tradition, culture and literature among Tamil-Canadians. The program is delivered in English, and aims to educate Tamil-Canadian student population about the history of Tamil culture. The program conducts constructive discussion on our ancestry, richness of our past and the usefulness of our value to today’s society. It also builds a forum for youth to engage in research on Tamil literature and the applicability to western lifestyle.
