The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) provides a forum for youth between ages 13 to 15 to develop applied skills such as public speaking, teamwork, effective communication, and leadership, at an early age.  These applied skills, which are very important in today’s work environment, are something the school curriculums don’t focus on enough. 

This Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is offered through a facilitator-managed, dynamic and fun-filled learning environment.  It is taught in a safe space, where individuals feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, ideas, and dreams with the facilitator and also with other youth.

தலைமைத்துவ பயிற்சி நெறிகள் மூலம் 13 வயதுக்கும் 15 வயதுக்கும் இடைப்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் வெற்றிகரமான வாழ்க்கைக்கு இன்றியமையாத திறமைகளான உரையாற்றல், குழுவாகப் பணியாற்றுதல், பயனுள்ள தொடர்பாடுதல், தலைமைத்துவ பண்பு போன்றவற்றை அடைந்து கொள்கிறார்கள்.

கனடா நாட்டில் 12 வருடங்களாக நடந்துவரும் இப் பயிற்சி நெறிகள் தற்போது வட மாகாணத்தில் வாழும் மாணவர்களும் பயனடையுமாறு நவம்பர் மாதம் முதல் அளிக்கப்படுகிறது. 

இப் பயிற்சி நெறிகள் தேர்வுபெற்ற நிர்வாக ஆசிரியர்களால் அறிவு நிறைந்த கற்றல் சூழலின் மூலம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.  இங்கு மாணவர்கள் தங்கள் எண்ணங்கள், யோசனைகள் மற்றும் கனவுகளை பிற மாணவர்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள வசதியாக உணர்கிறார்கள்.
